Product Warranty:
All our products have a manufacturer’s warranty of some sort. Please familiarise yourself with these Warranty Terms & Conditions.

New Products:
Mobility scooters – 1 year
Motorised wheelchairs – 1 year
Manual wheelchairs – 1 year
Walkers, canes and other small devices – 6 months
Beds – 1 year

Refurbished Used Products:
Mobility scooters – 1 year
Motorised wheelchairs – 1 year
Manual wheelchairs – 6 months
Walkers – 3 months

Please note:
In the case of batteries supplied in mobility scooters and powered wheelchairs, the battery is covered for 1 year. This warranty is passed on from us to the supplier of the batteries on a pro-rata system. In other words, if your battery packs up after 6 months, a new battery will be supplied, but will only be covered for the remainder of the year (6 months) and not a full year.

Please see below for reasons why a warranty may become null and void. All batteries are covered for 90 days. This is calculated from date of purchase. In most cases we can handle repairs and warranty claims, but sometimes the product will need to be sent back to the suppliers. Shipping costs of ALL returns to us or to the recommended agent must be paid by the customer. If a warrantee claim is accepted, a refund of shipping costs might be given.

1) modification, alteration, repair or service of this product by any persons or company other than us and/or suitable factory approved technicians.
2) physical abuse to, or misuse of the product or operation thereof, in a manner inconsistent with the use indicated in the instructions;
3) any use of the product other than that for which it was intended.
4) Lack of maintenance
5) Dirty batteries and those with liquid seepage are deemed to be user inflicted and are not covered
6) Negligence and careless behaviour.

NB: If at the coast, sea air does a lot of damage to the delicate electronic circuits. Wipe with a damp cloth and keep your device covered when not in use. If it gets wet in the rain, dry it off. Dents, bumps, rust etc is considered to be self inflicted and is not covered.

Subject to the above warranty, in the event that your mobility product device fails to operate satisfactorily, please follow our RMA process below:

Returns Procedure:
Our warranties are considered “bring in”. This means if you bring the product to our authorised technician, there will be no additional charges. Cost of getting the product to us and back to you are for your account.

If a battery or charger is faulty, speak to the agent or reseller that you bought it from. If this is not possible, contact us at Head Office. In order that we accept returns, you will first need to do complete an RMA request. To do this, you must send us an email, with all relevant details. Please send the parcel by courier or by registered mail, as we will not have any way of knowing were the parcel may be, should it go missing in the post. Should you have any questions regarding our Product Return Policy, you can contact us.

Please note: We have had false claims, so the conditions are that you bear the cost of returning the item to us and IF deemed faulty, a replacement will be sent.

Shipping Rates:
(Prices apply only to South Africa. Prices include packaging and VAT, but not insurance.)

General repairs and services not covered by the relevant warranty are charged at R350 per hour for labour, plus the cost of spares and consumables. Again, the costs of getting the product to us and back to you are for your account. A standard courier service will cost a flat rate of R500 irrespective of what is done to the item.

Note: All workshop jobs with a final price of less than R800 will automatically be done by our technician. Jobs valued at R800 and more will be quoted and not done without your permission. All jobs need to be booked in and will be done on a first come first served basis.

Please note:
No goods will be released before payment in full. Items for repair and service must be dropped at the head office. Once the workshop has completed the job, the item will be returned to head office for collection. Payments, receipts, quotes, invoices etc will all be done by head office.
