Imported Items From USA Please Note:
These products are shipped from our USA warehouse and can take between 7 and 21 days to be delivered to you. You will be given further details and a tracking number to keep tabs on the shipping.

Items purchased will only be arranged for delivery after your payment has cleared. Prices shown are final including product, shipping, customs, VAT, tax etc. All expenses are included in the price shown.

The authorised South African distributor of this product is under no obligation to honour the manufacture’s guarantees/warranties or to provide after-sales service.

Please note that this item is originally designed to be used in the USA. In addition, if the unit is powered it will come with a US plug and an adapter/transformer may be required. Certain items may not be allowed to import and could be replaced with something else of similar value.

Please also note that certain items cannot be imported, these include Alcohol, Animals, Batteries, Flammable Materials, Currency, Food, Furs, Chemicals, Explosives, Medications, Plants, Seeds, Supplements, Pressurized Cans, Tactical Equipment, Vitamins, Weaponry and Weaponry Accessories. Certain items may not be allowed to import and could be replaced with something else of similar value.

Please note that due to the fluctuating Rand/Dollar exchange rate and the shipping, we reserve the right to adjust prices. Prices shown on our website are as the latest quotes from the US, but at the time of us ordering, they might have to adjust slightly.

Please also ensure that you are ordering the correct item for your particular application as returns to the USA are costly. By clicking Add to Cart, you are confirming that the item is correct and that you accept all these conditions.

Locally Procured Items Please Note:

These items are already here in South Africa and will be delivered to you from one of our South African warehouses. It is possible that several items will be delivered at different times, from different warehouses. Delivery should be completed in about 3 to 7 days, after your payment has cleared.

Please also ensure that you are ordering the correct item for your particular application as returns are costly. By clicking Add to Cart, you are confirming that the item is correct and that you accept all these conditions.

Good News:
Any item can be collected from our Pietermaritzburg depot and there will be no additional shipping charge at all. Alternatively, the customer is welcome to arrange a courier of their choice to collect from our depot, providing they arrange this properly with us and collections are made in the allotted times.

We are notified immediately of payments by credit card or EFT, transacted through PayFast. If you choose do do your own direct EFT, we will have to wait for clearance. With ABSA clients, this is normally within 3 to 12 hours, but other banks can take 3 or 4 days. Please ask for immediate payment so that it shows on our statement. DO NOT simply tick the box asking your bank to notify us as this can take days and we will not process an order until the funds have cleared. We do not accept faxes and emails as proof of payment.

Important Notice:
All mobility items are delivered to the door by a courier company. In the event of a late or lost delivery, due to strike action or anything else, we have no control over deliveries by these private courier companies and cannot be held responsible. We will assist in trying to locate the parcel for you.

Insurance is also possible, but you will need to contact us for a quote.

Please note:
Any other shipping costs for other items include packaging, postage and VAT, but not insurance. If you want insurance on your parcel, please inform us by e-mail. Either wait to make payment, or pay the additional fee after checking out. All orders received before 10 am will be shipped that day, wherever possible, but some days we are out of the office and will then process the order the following morning. All orders placed after 10 am will only be shipped the following day. Any orders placed over the weekend or on a public holiday, will only be shipped on the next working day.

We will not be held responsible for late or lost deliveries. We will pack your parcel and pay the relevant delivery party for the delivery costs as per your instruction, but once we have handed the parcel over to the Post Office, or courier service and we have a receipt for our payment, we are no longer liable. We will send you the parcel reference/tracking number, but this is the end of our responsibility. You can enquire with the delivery service as to the whereabouts of your parcel. As long as we have proof of handing the parcel over, we can not and will not pursue the matter any further. It will be deemed to have been successfully shipped to you. We have absolutely no control over delivery of your parcel by any 3rd party.

Dersal Mobility will take the necessary precautions when packing a parcel and try to avoid the possibility of damage to the contents, but then it is out of our hands. If a parcel is damaged in transit, we will not be held liable. Our liability ends when we hand the parcel over for delivery.
